Aoi may seem like a dickhead at first, but when you get to know him, you see its only a mask. His mother died when he was 13, leaving him with his father. At 15, he started having problems at school. Fights and sexual acts with both students AND teachers. His father finally took Aoi to a counselor and doctor. They told him that Aoi had Intermitted Explosive Disorder, which explained the very bloody fights. Both the counselor and the doctor said that it wouldn't explain for the sex with teachers and students during school hours. After talking to just Aoi, The counselor could only come up with the answer that he had a very high sex drive. Knowing that Aoi was out of control, His father sent him to Shokubeni University. Aoi has his lip pierced, and wanting a tattoo.

He likes it fairly fine at Shokubeni University, making lots of friends and having decent grades. The doctor still wanted him to see a counselor, so he made sure to talk to the headmaster and tell him that he needed to see a counselor during his free period. Obeying the headmaster after being threatened to being expelled if he didn't, Aoi went to see him. After his first visit, he fairly liked it. Uruha was beautiful and seemed to listen well to him, which made him comfortable. Not soon after, they started to date. Aoi feels very much in love with the teacher, having given him a promise ring that one day he will marry Uruha.
